When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade- right?
Sometimes this is easier said than done I find; however, what I’ve come to see is important is trying to find the silver lining to any situation (big or small) and LEAN IN to what the possible opportunities this may bring you in the future. I’ve been working in the corporate environment in the same profession (Human Resources) for over 20 years and what I’ve recently discovered is what may work for your life situation (i.e. single, married, with kids, etc.) five years ago may not be what you need in the present day. I’m learning to let go of the fear of “what if” and challenging myself on truly chasing after some of the things I’ve wanted to pivot into for awhile. More to come, but I’m truly thankful for this next chapter in life and what it may bring me & my family.
